Summary II of Advisory Panel Preparations – July 6, 2004
Dear Nelson,
Here is the summary of preparations for the IMT advisory
panel Dr. Gunzburger wanted you to review.
The physicians recommended and contacted to participate in the advisory panel have all received information and
surveys. Surveys have been returned from Dr. Stein, Dr. Moriarty, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Fritz. Due to his
unavailability to attend on Saturdays, it has been decided that Dr. Fritz will be a consultant to the panel. All other
physicians have been personally contacted by Dr. Gunzburger and reissued surveys and information. An updated physician
chart is attached. On Dr. Fritz’s recommendation, three other physicians may be invited to participate in the IMT
advisory Panel. They are Dr. Christopher Remboldt, MD, University of Virginia; Dr. Joseph Buchman MD, FACC, Seattle,
and Regina Dreuding, MD, Utah. Contact has been made with these psysicians.
We have selected a travel agent to set up transportation for our panel.
We plan to use Citinet Travel. We have been in contact with Kathy Gronner of this agency.
Proposals have come in from several hotels. Rates, meeting rooms,
availability, comfort and location are taken into consideration.
At this time, the Hilton O’Hare, the Hilton Chicago, and Homewood Suites,
are being considered, along with a few other area hotels. Menu plans for
dinner on Friday, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and lunch on Saturday are
also being planned for the pleasure of our advisory panel.
